Aquaventure Waterpark
Aquaventure water park is located on Palm Jumeirah Island, right next to Atlantis The Palm hotel. The Aquaventure water park is the ideal place to cool off during your vacation in Dubai. At the water park, you can have fun in one of the many pools, ponds and other water attractions. You can also relax on the water park’s private beach.
Aquaventure is the largest water park in the Middle East and boasts, among other things, the world’s largest slide at the Tower of Poseidon attraction. The longest zip line in the Middle East can also be found in the water park.
Attractions and slides
With its multiple pools and slides, Aquaventure Waterpark promises a full day of water fun for the whole family. The water park offers a variety of attractions, including The Rapids, a water course filled with rapids and twists where visitors descend aboard a tube for one or two people. From the 27.5-metre-high Ziggurat, visitors are propelled down a 61-metre-long slide before gliding through a transparent tunnel through a shark lagoon. An unforgettable experience not to be missed! In addition to these attractions, Aquaventure offers a multitude of pools of different sizes, slides, playgrounds and rapids.
Aquaventure water park expansion
The Aquaventure water park at the Atlantis Hotel will be significantly expanded in early 2021. A total of 28 new attractions and slides have been added. The expansion of the water park on Palm Jumeirah Island includes two new towers, the Trident Tower and Splashers Lagoon. The 48-metre-high Trident Tower features 12 record-breaking water slides and attractions, including the world’s longest family slide and the highest vertical drop slide in the Middle East. The other tower, Splashers Lagoon and Splashers Cove, contains 16 slides and water attractions.
New attractions include Trident Tower – Odyssey of Terror, where you free-fall into the water, and Shockwave, each a unique combination of power, speed and rafting adventure. Medusa’s Lair is an intricate network of twists and turns where you cross dark caves and descend steep slopes, Black Out is the scariest version of the Leap of Faith. Here, you fall almost vertically down a slide until you land in the water. In the Hydra Racers attraction, four racers can challenge each other at the same time to be the first to win the “trident”.
Dolphin Bay
Next to the Aquaventure water park is Dolphin Bay, where you can swim with dolphins for a unique experience. Access to Dolphin Bay is only possible with a separate ticket.
